Holiday Shopping at Disneyland: Gifts, Tips, and More
Plan a festive shopping day at Disneyland Resort: holiday collections, Star Wars finds, ornament hotspots, app mobile checkout, package hold, and Toys for Tots dates.
Why holiday shopping at the Resort feels different
There’s something about twinkling lights on Main Street, U.S.A., seasonal overlays on attractions, and characters dressed for the season that turns ordinary gift-hunting into a memory-making day. Holidays at the Disneyland Resort and the Disney Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure run November 13, 2026 through January 6, 2027—so the parks, décor, limited-time entertainment and seasonal treats are all part of the backdrop while you shop.
Collector-focused shopping moves that save time
If you’re treating a trip to the parks like a collector mission, prioritize a few practical moves: use Merchandise Mobile Checkout at World of Disney (scan barcodes and pay in the Disneyland app) to avoid lines; link eligible accounts and payment methods in the app to have any member discounts applied automatically; stash purchases in a rented locker or use the resort’s Package Hold Service to enjoy the parks hands-free and pick items up later. Also watch for select member discounts—Magic Key annual pass holders, Disney Vacation Club members and Disney Visa Cardmembers may be eligible for savings at participating locations.
Gift ideas and where to find them
Holiday collections make great, easy gifts—look for Spirit Jerseys, seasonal apparel and themed lines like the Mickey Mouse Family Christmas, Holiday Pastel, Vintage Holiday, Holiday Plaid and Winnie the Pooh Holiday collections. Ornaments are a tidy, sentimental pick: this year’s commemorative designs nod to park icons and attractions and three special ornaments are carried at World of Disney (Downtown Disney District), Emporium (Disneyland) and Elias & Co. (Disney California Adventure). For Star Wars fans, Galaxy’s Edge shops — Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities, Black Spire Outfitters, Creature Stall, Toydarian Toymaker — plus Droid Depot and Savi’s Workshop offer characterful toys, companions and custom lightsabers (including a new “Protection and Defense” hilt theme noted for the season).
Downtown Disney finds and seasonal extras
Start in Downtown Disney to bank a few guaranteed wins before you even enter the parks: World of Disney, Disney Wonderful World of Sweets, The D-Lander Shop, Avengers Reserve and Disney Storyland Boutique all have distinct vibes and giftable merchandise. You’ll also find holiday-themed collaborations and gifts—examples this season include Lovepop advent calendars, Pandora gift sets and branded apparel and footwear at retailers like lululemon—perfect for shoppers wanting packaged, ready-to-give items without the runway of the parks.
Give back while you shop: Toys for Tots info
If you want your shopping to include a direct charity moment, the resort partners with the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots program. Donation bins will be available at select Downtown Disney shopping locations from November 16 through December 10, 2026, and U.S. Marines will accept donations near the Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage on December 4. It’s a simple way to turn a souvenir run into a little extra cheer for families in need.
